Create your very own pinecone owl or other woodland critter out of things found in nature under the guidance of a ranger! Or create something entirely new; let your imagination run wild! Held at boathouse by fishing dock. Cancelled if rain.

Every Saturday Start anytime. Team up for our on-site scavenger hunt. Pick up checklist/rules at the park office. Pictures must be brought to office with checklist by 4PM. Names of completed sheets will be entered into a drawing. Winners notified by phone to pick up prize. Free.

Join the ranger for an investigative stream lab to discover salamanders and other cold-stream inhabitants. We provide dip nets and catch pans. Wear tennis shoes you can get wet. Adults and families welcome. Each person pays $3 correct change at the site. Park at Pool. Meet to the right of pool playground.

Archery target shooting adventure for ages 10 to adult. We provide basic instruction, equipment, and prizes. Beginners welcome. Limited attendance of 12 per time slot. Candy prizes. Groups can contact us for a special time. Preregistration required. Meet at archery field below dam. Park at boat dock. $15 per person.

Learn paddling basics and practice kayaking and canoeing on Deleanor lake. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Limited space. $10 per student. Meet at pavilion below Lake Deleanor.

Join a ranger on a relaxing evening paddle enjoying nature, the night sky, and possibly seeing some wildlife. We provide life jackets, paddles, 2-person canoes, kayaks, paddleboats or john boats.
