• Outdoor Discovery Stations: 10am-1pm– Learn about local wildlife, history, and outdoor skills with learning stations and discovery tables. Live animals, nature discoveries, inflatable archery, and more hands-on adventures. Park Office lawn. Free.

• Volunteer Day: all day– Help keep our park clean! Stop by the office to get a trash bag to pick up litter on the trail.

• Salamander Meander: 3-4 PM– Join the ranger for an investigative stream lab to discover salamanders and other cold-stream inhabitants. We provide dip nets and catch pans. Wear tennis shoes you can get wet. Adults and families welcome. Each person pays $3 correct change at the site. Park at Pool. Meet to the right of pool playground.

• Free Fishing Day: all day– no fishing license is required all day long

• Star Light, Star Bright: 8-10pm– Join the Columbus Coca-Cola Space Science Center staff for a night sky talk and sky viewing. Telescopes will be set up. Bring a chair or blanket for sitting on the grassy field. Free. Baseball field across from Liberty Bell Pool on Hwy 354.
